Some weddings begin with a thick folder of references. Others begin with a single sentence, said over coffee at the very first meeting.

"We want a bright, emotional wedding by the sea. And definitely — beautiful fireworks." That was all Nikita and Evgenia told us. No colour palette, no "must-have / must-avoid" list, no ready-made concept. Just trust — and one dream we had to turn into an entire day.

We took care of everything: finding the venue, shaping the story of the day, florals, lighting, the entertainment program, and coordination down to the very last minute. Two months of preparation — and a wedding was born that will be remembered for years to come.

For the wedding, we found a private oceanfront venue with a full 180-degree panorama, and a pier stretching straight into the water as if into nowhere. For these days, the couple stayed at a hotel in a beachfront bungalow just steps from the waves.

That solved the main problem: there was no rush. The day before the wedding was theirs to relax and gather themselves. The night after — no travelling anywhere, just falling asleep to the sound of the surf, already husband and wife. The bride's morning preparations, the groom getting ready by the sea, their love story — all of it became part of one long wedding film, shot unhurriedly, frame by frame.

We divided the venue itself into three scenes of one story:

a green lawn above the sea — for the vows;

a covered area with an ocean view — for dinner and dancing;

the sandy shore — for the finale: the fire show and fireworks.

The ceremony took place on a green lawn — the very spot where the land seems to dissolve into the ocean. We designed the décor in a white-and-beige palette: two asymmetrical arrangements of luxurious peony roses, hydrangea, snow-white phalaenopsis orchids, and a cloud of baby's breath around them. Light Dior-style wooden chairs, living greenery underfoot — and an endless sea as the backdrop, a view that can't be recreated anywhere else in the world.

Evgenia's walk to the arch was one of those moments when time seems to slow down. Personal vows, tears of happiness no one tried to hold back, smiles from family and friends all around. Then — "husband and wife," and the first sparks of cold fountains by the arch. A small hint that this was only the beginning of the evening.

As the sun went down, the space became unrecognisable. Sheer fabrics overhead softly divided the area into zones, creating a sense of air and lightness. Fairy lights, warm glowing tones, the living flame of candles, beams of spotlights — and suddenly it wasn't a banquet hall anymore, but a scene from a fairy-tale film you'd want to watch again and again.

We mapped out every guest's journey through the evening like a script: a welcome zone, a corner for wishes and interactive moments, an open bar, a European-style dinner menu — and a dance floor that never emptied until the very end of the night. The tables were dressed with fresh flowers, candles, individual place settings, and designer stationery — not a single detail left to chance.

Evgenia wanted bright emotions — so we decided this wouldn't just be a beautiful dinner, but an evening guests would keep retelling for years. For them, we created an entire storyline of surprises: instant photo printing, so memories would travel home with guests that same night; a time capsule with three boxes the couple will open in months and years to come; a shared painting, where every guest left a small piece of themselves — it now hangs in Nikita and Evgenia's home.

But the evening's biggest trick took a different form. A waiter "accidentally" dropped the cake while carrying it out — a skilfully made replica that shattered before the stunned crowd. A few seconds of genuine shock, gasps, a silent room — and then the real cake rolled out, whole and untouched. The fright instantly turned to laughter, and the moment became one everyone will remember for a long time.

Evgenia — a bride of extraordinary beauty — changed into three different looks over the course of the evening, and each appearance brought a new atmosphere, new light, new frames.

The first dance, by contrast, we kept almost bare: just the couple, a beam of light, and music. Nothing else — because this moment belonged only to the two of them, and it needed no décor.

The bride's dream came true right at the very end of the evening. On the sand at the water's edge, performers staged a large-scale fire show — flames dancing over the dark ocean while guests watched, holding their breath. Then, in the final seconds, a few powerful bursts shot upward and instantly turned into fireworks. Sky, sea, and fire merged into a single picture — exactly the one Evgenia had dreamed of since our very first meeting.

A team of around 20 people worked on this day: venue sourcing, concept and design, florals and décor, lighting, sound and DJ, host and entertainment program, photo and video, stylists and makeup artists, and full coordination from sunrise to the last firework. Preparation took two months; setup on-site took about five hours.

The only real challenge was Phuket's rainy season. We kept a backup date-change plan in place and watched the forecast until the last possible hour. But on the wedding day, the sky itself seemed to play along — the ocean, the sunset, and that tropical magic couples come to Phuket for.
